Saskatchewan Music Conference
November 6 @ 9:00 am - 9:00 pm
Due to social distancing restrictions still being in effect because of COVID-19 and desire to keep everyone safe, SMC organizers have decided to change the in-person meeting to a online conference. The conference will
be one day held on Friday November 6 at 9 a.m.
The conference will include opening remarks, band, ORFF, and diversity streams, and lunchtime entertainment between sessions for you to enjoy. In the evening, SMEA and ORFF will host their annual general meeting, and then a free reading session will conclude the conference.
SMC organizers are very excited to have the following talented clinicians confirmed for this year:
Band–Scott Lang, Robert W. Smith, Scott Watson, Randall Standridge
ORFF– Brent Holl, Denise Gagne, Aimee Pfitzner
Diversity– Walt Hampton, Irene Nordheim, Jacob Faithful, Jennifer Lang, Manju Durairaj
You can view the bios and session information on all the clinicians at https://www.saskmusic.ca/. More clinicians will be added this summer so please return to the site for the latest information.
Anyone who decides to register will receive an on-line program, along with a username and passcode to access the sessions. SMC wants to thank you for your continuous support and understanding, we hope that you can join us online in November!
